Colleen is an award-winning, executive-level communications strategist and thought leader with extensive experience in the payments industry and financial services sector. She believes branding and communications strategies serve as the heart of an organization, extending its mission and vision to target audiences through the right tactics and vehicles.
As principal at CFM Communications, Colleen collaborates with leadership teams to develop integrated communications strategies and programs to solidify positioning and influence the marketplace. From thought leader initiatives to communications strategy to education programs, Colleen brings creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to each project she oversees.
She excels at creating content-rich strategies and promotions that deliver results. In addition, she is a contributor to the Independent Banker, the award-winning monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America.
Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Virginia. When she’s not busy collaborating with her clients, you can find Colleen spending time with her husband and two sons or – quite literally – running through her neighborhood. She resides in St. Michaels, Md.
